Welcome to the Learning Center
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 9am to 4pm Free ESL instruction is offered for adults whose native language is not English.
One-on-one tutoring helps beginning, intermediate and advanced students improve English skills in reading, writing and speaking. The tutoring sessions are directed at improving English conversational skills for home and workplace literacy. These sessions are based on genuine communication between the tutor and the student. If you have any questions please contact Linda Herr or Nicole Spells.
Career PathwaysCareer Pathways makes it easier for adults to advance throughprogressive levels of the educational system while gaining workforce skills. Currently the Learning Center provides basic literacy and other instruction in reading, writing and math in a classroom setting or through one-on-one tutoring. Preparation for passing the GED or other high school equivalency tests is offered as well as English Language Learning for non-native speakers of the English language. These instructional elements will continue to be provided; however, the skills taught will foster workforce and post-secondary education and training program readiness.
